Grandmas Body coolants

Natural or home remedies to reduce body heat

Body  heat is a common problem in children as well as adults. When there is excess body heat other problems like burning eyes, loose motions and sometimes running nose occurs. There are a lot of grandmas remedies for body cooling. Very effective ones are listed below. These grandmas home remedies for body cooling is recommended for the summer heat. High temperature during fever is different from the normal body heat. None of the below mentioned coolants should be used during fever.

      Tip 1:
      Castor oil is a very good coolant. 2-3 drops have to be applied on the head in the morning. If you have missed it in the morning then 2-3 drops can be rubbed on the sole of your feet before going to bed. This works very well in children. 
 






    Tip 2.
         Tender coconut tends to cool the body. Drinking enough quantity of tender coconut cools the body. Nature provides this in abundance specially during summer.

     Tip 3.
           Sesame oil is another coolant. Massaging 2-3 tablespoons of sesame oil on the head and having hot water head bath is another way of cooling the body.

 
         
      Tip 4:
      Natural foods like cucumber, moong dal (green gram), cumin seeds, palm fruit  and butter milk  are all body coolants.

 






     Tip 5.
          Boil a spoonful of cumin seeds in a vessel of water that you would consume every day. Filter this and drink it instead of normal bottled water. This is an excellent body coolant.    

Caution: Do not practice all the above together.  Following just one of the above will cool the body immediately.
