Silver cleaning

  How to clean silver utensils or silver jewelry or ornaments like anklets at home?    

     Silver ( Chemical name – Argentum) is a metal whose property is to tarnish.  As days go by,              whether in use or not silver tends to tarnish losing its natural shine. There is an easy grandmas home remedy to clean this. The ordinary toothpaste which we use to brush our teeth cleans silver too. Apply a dab of toothpaste on the silver utensil, wet a sponge and rub it in circular motion till the black tarnish is gone and the silver shine is restored. Finally wash it off with water. Do not forget to towel dry the silver that you are cleaning. This cleaning can be done periodically to shine the silver utensils or jewelry or ornaments.
